“May you live in interesting times.”

The Internet keeps telling me this quote is ironic and that, ultimately, “interesting” is a euphemism for “cursed” or “troubled.” While I take their word for it, I am consciously reinterpreting it and taking it a face value.

We do live in interesting times, arguably the most interesting time in human history. Is this scary? Of course! Would you want it any other way? Nope!
